Speed to control the drill torque

Notice the knob above the "switch"
Turn that to rotate clockwise or
anticlockwise for the drill bit
Window bind dropped from my home kitchen, so decided to help out. But instead I drilled more holes into the dash board then help fixed the problem. Tsk tsk. Dad was obviously mad for my nuisance. But I managed to gain some simple understanding on the drill parts. Sad to say I dont have the skill to drill a hole.(But multiple holes) Oh well, need some guidance from some foreman! perhaps give me some advice on how to drill a hole if you know.
